Tom Brady has 'moved on' from Aaron Hernandez

Elsa

Tom Brady isn't thinking about Aaron Hernandez as he heads into training camp, choosing to focus on his new teammates.
As Aaron Hernandez faces trial for murder, his former New England Patriotsteammate isn't dwelling on him too much. Quarterback Tom Brady told Peter King in a MMQB interview that he's "moved on" from the issue and wants to focus on his new teammates heading into training camp.
From King's MMQB site:
I've seen a lot of things over 13 years, and what I have learned is that mental toughness and putting aside personal agendas for what's in the best interest of the team matters most. My job is to play quarterback, and I'm going to do that the best way I know how, because I owe that to my teammates regardless of who is out there on the field with me.
I have moved on. I'm focusing on the great teammates I have who are committed to helping us win games. The only thing I care about is winning. Nothing is going to ever get in the way of that goal. I'm just excited to report to camp and see what we can accomplish as a team. The fate of our season will be determined by the players in our locker room-nothing else.
In three seasons with the Patriots, Hernandez has caught 175 passes from Brady, good for 1,956 yards and 18 touchdowns while helping the team reach the Super Bowl in 2011. Those are likely to be his final career numbers if he's convicted of first-degree murder in the death of Odin Lloyd.
It's an ignominious end to what was once considered one of the best quarterback-to-tight end combinations in the league, but it's clear that Brady is ready to move forward. He still has Rob Gronkowski to throw to, and will soon be working with free agent signee Danny Amendola and rookie Aaron Dobson when camp opens this week.
